HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984.12.04_OPWA MinutesCM On Tuesday, December 4, 1984, the Owasso Public Works Authority met in a regular session in the Council Chambers at City Hall per the Notice of Public Hearing and Agenda posted on City Hall bulletin board at 4:00 p.m. on November 30, 1984. ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:58 p.m. with Chairman Spencer presiding. ITEM 2: FLAG SALUTE ITEM 3: ROLL CALL PRESENT: Boyd M. Spencer, Chairman Wauhilleau Webb, Vice -Chairman James Smalley, Trustee Von Stockler, Trustee Robert Peel, Trustee Dan Galloway, City Manager Ron Cates, City Attorney Ann Hendrickson, Secretary ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 20. 1984 OPWA MEETING. Motion was made by James Smalley, seconded by Von Stockler, to approve the minutes of November 20, 1984, by reference made a part hereof. AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Peel; Mrs. Webb NAY: None Motion carried. ITEM 5: BUSINESS A. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF CALENDAR OF REGULARLY SCHEDULED OPWA MEETINGS FOR 985. Motion was made by Robert Peel, seconded by James Smalley, to approve the calendar of regularly scheduled OPWA meetings for 1985 as presented. AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Peel; Mrs. Webb NAY: None Motion carried. B. REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION• DISCUSSION AND REVIEW OF PERSON EL MATTERS. Passed temporarily. 6. REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY Mr. Cates reported that an amended petition has: been filed by Mr. York naming the Owasso Public Works Authority as a defendant. REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER Mr. Galloway reported that there was a serious problem with the 76th St. N. to 12" water line running East from the cemetery on He that the item be put on the next agenda 129th E. REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY(Cont'd) Mr. Cates reported on the status of the O.S.D.H. Consent Order, difications regarding deadline explaining language changes and mo delays. 8. NEW BUSINESS There was no new business. ITEM 5-B. RE UEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION: DISCUSSION AND REVIEW OF PERSONNEL MATTERS. ITEM 5-M. Meeting recessed at 8:14 p.m. and reconvened at 10:27 p.m. No action was taken at the Executive Session. Motion was made by Von Stockler, seconded by James Smalley, to adjourn the Owasso Public Works Authority. AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Peel; Mrs. Webb NAY: None Motion carried.
