met in a regular session in the Council Chambers at City Hall per
the Notice of Public Hearing and Agenda posted on City Hall bulletin
board at 4:00 p.m. on August 30, 1985.

The meeting was called to order at 7:28 p.m. with Chairman Spencer
presiding.

ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA.

ET AL, V. CITY OF OWASSO.
C. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PERMIT NO. S'L-85-228 FOR
to-, CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER LINE TO SERVE HERITAGE
ADDITION.
Motion was made by Von Stockler, seconded by Mayor Spencer, to
approve the Consent Agenda.

ITEM 5: DISCUSSION REGARDING WASTE MANAGEMENT COMMERCTAL REFUSE
SERVICE/BRUCE MALEC.
Mr. Bruce Malec, General Manager of Waste Management, spoke to
the Authority regarding the possibl'ity of Waste Management work-
ing with the City on setting two large dumpsters for citizens to
deposit large items free of charge as a clean-up service. He
also stated that Waste Management wished to be a part of the com-
munity and would like to make some kind of contribution. He asked
for suggestions as to what would be most beneficial.
ITEM 6: CONSIDERATION OF AUTHORIZATION OF ACTING SIGNATOR FOR
FINANCIAL TRANSACTION DURING TRANSITION IN CITY TREASURER'S

Motion was made by Chairman Spencer, seconded by Mr. Stockler,
to authorize Bonnie J. Claytor, Purchasing Agent, as acting
signator for financial transaction during transition in City
Treasurer's office.
AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Wood, Peel
NAY: None
Motion carried.
ITEM 7: REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY
Mr. Cates reported on action he had taken on behalf of the Owasso
Public Works Authority in the matter of Glenpool vs. Creek County
Rural Water District.
ITEM 8: REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER
Mr. Galloway stated that he would have a date for fall cleanup
program in Owasso at the next meeting.
ITEM 9: NEW BUSINESS
None

adjourn.
