ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6; 18 p.m, with Chairman Spencer presiding. ITEM 2: FLAG SALUTE ITEM 3: ROLL CALL PRESENT: Boyd M. Spencer, Mayor James Smalley, Vice -Mayor Von Stockler, Councilman Robert Peel, Councilman Dan Galloway, City Manager Ron Cates, City Attorney Jim Dunlap, Asst. City Mgr./City Planner Ann Hendrickson, Secretary ABSENT: Kenneth Wood, Councilman ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF SEPT. 17, 1985 O.P.W.A. MEETING Motion was made by James Smalley, seconded by Von Stockler, to approve the minutes of Sept. 17, 1985, by reference made a part hereof. ITEM 5: CONSIDERATION OF SETTING TRASH SERVICES LIMITATIONS TO INCLUDE A MAXIMUM OF TWO TRASH BAGS IN ADDITION TO EACH POLY CART AND A WEIGHT LIMITATION OF A MAXIMUM OF 70 LBS. FOR ANY SINGLE TRASH BAG, BOX, CAN, OR OTHER CONTAINER Motion was made by James Smalley, seconded by Von Stockler, to deny setting trash service limitations. AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Peel NAY: None Motion carried. ITEM 6: CONSIDERATION OF AUTHORIZING ONE ON -CALL O.P.W.A. EMPLOYEE TO TAKE A WORK VEHICLE HOME DURING HIS ON -CALL DUTY WITH CONSIDERATION OF A RESTRICTION THAT SAID EMPLOYEE LIVE WITHIN ONE MILE OF THE CORPORATE CITY LIMITS. Motion was made by Mayor Spencer, seconded by Von Stockler, to deny the authorization of one on -call O.P.W.A. employee to take a work vehicle home during on -call duty. AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Peel NAY: None Motion carried. O.P.W.A OCT. 1, 1985 Page 2 ITEM 7: CONSIDERATION OF ESTABLISHMENT OF TIME AND PLACE FOR A TOWN MEETING REGARDING INFORMATION ON POSSIBLE UTILITY RATE ADJUSTMENTS. Motion was made by James Smalley, seconded by Von Stockler, to have a town meeting regarding possible utility rate adjustments on Tuesday January 14, 1986. AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockler, Smalley, Peel NAY: None Motion carried. ITEM 8: REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY None ITEM 9: REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER None ITEM 10: NEW BUSIENSS There being no new business before the Owasso Public Works Authority, motion was made by Robert Peel, seconded by Von Stocker, to adjourn.
