HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991.04.16_OPWA MinutesOWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY APRIL 16, 1991 On Tuesday, April 16, 1991 the Owasso Public Works Authority met in a regular session in the Council Chambers at the Community Center per the Notice of Public Meeting and Agenda posted on the City Hall bulletin board at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 1991. ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with Chairman Thompson presiding. ITEM 2: FLAG SALUTE. The flag salute was led by Chairman Thompson. ITEM 3: ROLL CALL. PRESENT: Mark Thompson, Chairman John P. Phillips, Vice Chairman Patricia K. Marlar, Trustee Von E. Stockler, Trustee Jason Gittelman, Trustee Rodney J. Ray, City Manager Ronald D. Cates, O.P.W.A. Attorney Jane Buchanan, Secretary ABSENT: None A quorum was declared present. ITEM 4: REQUEST APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE APRIL 2 1991 MEETING. A motion was made by P. Marlar, seconded by J. Gittelman, to approve the minutes as written, by reference hereto. AYE: Marlar, Gittelman, Marlar, Stockler, Thompson NAY: None MOTION: Carried 5-0 1 OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY APRIL 16, 1991 ITEM 5. REQUEST APPROVAL OF THE WARRANTS. A motion was made by J. Phillips, seconded by V. Stockler, to approve the warrants as follows: (1) $9,118.65 and (2) Payroll $17,967.11. AYE: Phillips, Stockler, Gittelman, Marlar, Thompson NAY: None MOTION: Carried 5-0 ITEM 6: REPORT FROM O.P.W.A. MANAGER. Mr. Ray gave a report on a major sewer line problem in the 8th and Ash area where two lines have collapsed. It has been isolated and is being repaired at this time. ITEM 7: REPORT FROM O.P.W.A. ATTORNEY. None ITEM 8: NEW BUSINESS. None ITEM 9: ADJOURN. With there being no further business to be brought before the Trustees, a motion was made by V. Stockler, seconded by P. Marlar, to adjourn. AYE: Stockler, Marlar, Gittelman, Phillips, Thompson NAY: None MOTION: Carried 5-0 Meeting was adjourned at 7:07 p.m. illips, Chairman J ne Buchanan, Secretary Note: These minutes were approved at the May 7, 1991 meeting, during that meeting Mr. Phillips was elected Chairman. jb 2
