The following constitute a portion of the minutes of a ~ ~
meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the ow of Owasso,
Oklahoma, held in the City Hall at 7:30 o"clock p. m. January ~~
1955.
W. J. Bryson, President, present and presiding.

Roll Call disclosed the following Trustees in attendance:

Absent : ~_
A canvass of returns of the Special Election to approve or disapprove
the granting of a gas franchise to Oklahoma Natural Gas Company was
had.
Whereupon a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF
THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE ..TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, ON THE
25TH DAY OF JANUARY, 19 55, ON ORDINANCE NO. 47, GRANTING TO OKLAHOMA
NATURAL GAS COMPANY, A FRANCHISE FOR A PERIOD OF TWENTY-FIVE YEARS,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.", was introduced and read in full by the
Clerk.
Thereupon Trustee ~ ~;, .- moved that the resolution be now adopted
and approved as in roduced and read, which motion was seconded by
Trustee ~;~,.,~,_,~ and the roll was called with the following result:

clared to xis by reason whereof this resolution shall take effect
from and afte its addption and approval, which motion was seconded
by Trustee ~ ,~~_~~~~-~ , and the roll was called wit h the follow-
ing result:

Whereupon the President declared the motions carried and the
resolution duly adopted and approved.
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion
duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
