STAFF COMMENTS:
This project was designed to signalize the intersection at 96th Street North and Garnett Road:
and, construct street surface repairs and improvements in order to allow the signalization project
to properly function. The project was completed under two agreements. One, a contract in the
amount _of_$38,600 between the City of Owasso and Bee -Line Traffic Control of Tulsa, was for
the installation of a used signalization system. The second agreement was with Tulsa County
and required them to reconstruct the street base, street surface, and install drainage
improvements. The County estimates their cost (value of services) at $152,000. The
City /County agreement was not one that required city participation in the cost of materials. The
cm's portion of the project consisted of acquiring right -of -way and constructing signalization.
Total city cost of this proiect was $40.160. The source of funds for the city's portion of the
project was as follows:
Capital Improvements 96th & Garnett Signalization Budget - $27.820.19
Capital Improvements Residential Streets Budget - $12,339.81
TOTAL COST - $40.160.00
