OW ASSO CITY COUNCIL
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
Monday, January 25, 1999
The Owasso City Council met in special session on Monday, January 25, 1999 in the Lower Level
Conference Room at City Hall per the Notice and Agenda filed in the office of the City Clerk and
posted on the City Hall bulletin board at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 1999.
ITEM 1:
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL.
Mayor Bode called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. Councilors present: Denise Bode, Mayor;
Mark Wilken, Vice Mayor (in at 6:36); Mary Lou Barnhouse, Councilor; Melinda Voss, Councilor;
Duston Smith, Councilor. Councilors absent: none. A quorum was declared present.
ITEM 2:
CONSIDERATION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION RELATING TO A REQUEST
FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING
PERSONNEL MATTERS RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
MANAGER, SUCH EXECUTIVE SESSION PROVIDED FOR IN O.S. 25,
SECTION 307(B)(1 ).
Ms Voss moved, seconded by Ms Barnhouse, to move into executive session for the purpose of
conducting the City Manager's six-month performance review.

Voss, Barnhouse, Smith, Wilken, Bode
None
Motion carried 5-0, and the Council entered into executive session at 6:34 p.m.
Mr Wilken moved, seconded by Ms Barnhouse, to terminate the executive session and return to open
seSSIOn.

Wilken, Barnhouse, Smith, Voss, Bode
None
Motion carried 5-0, and the Council returned from executive session at 9:45 p.m.
ITEM 3:
ADJOURNMENT
Mr Wilken moved, seconded by Ms Barnhouse to adjourn.

None
