AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO APPOINT A SEXTON
AND DEFINING HIS DUTIES.
SECTION 1. That the Board of Trustees shall appoint a Sexton to
be under the supervision of the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Owasso, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
SECTION 2. The duties of the Sexton shall be to show parties the
Cemetery who contemplate the purchase of a lot and give whatever
assistance that may be required in getting parties to dig graves and
when convenient, furnish the Town Clerk the name and age of the
parties buried and he shall collect the price of lots sold and shall
deliver the same to the Town Clerk.
SECTION 3. The salary of the Sexton shall be One Dollar ($1.00) for
each lot he sells; said salary to be paid once each six (6) months;
said salary shall be paid out of "The Cemetery Fund" and only
upon the approval by the Board of Trustees.
