HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE NO. 24 & 25 & 26ORDINAINCE # 24 AN ORDINANCE AGAINST FAST DRIVING AND RIDING, DEFINING THE OFFENSE AND PRVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VILATION THEREOF. SECTION 1. That it shall be a misdemeanor to do or cause to be done any of the acts described herein and any person convicted thereof shall be fined not less than One dollar and not more than Twenty-Five dollars. SECTION 2. It is unlawful for any person to drive or ride through any street or alley in so careless manner or at so great a rate of speed as to endanger the proerty or life or limb of others. ORDINANCE # 25 AN ORDINANCE AGAINST GAMBLING AND BAMBLING DEVISES, DEFINING THE OFFENSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. SECTION 1. That it shall be a misdemeanor to do or cause to be done any of the following acts and each act shall constitute a seperate offense. SECTION 2. It is unlawful for any person to have, keep, set up, maintain. or to be in any way connected with the keeping, setting up, or maintaining of a place where gambling or games of chane of any kind or description for prizes or valuees are played or practised, or for any person to participate in such gambling or the maintaining of such nuisance. SECTION 3. That it shall be a misdemeanor to do or cause to be done any of the acts herein described and any person convicted thereof shall be fined not less than One Dollar nor more than Twenty-five Dollars. ORDINANCE # 26 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE DISTURBANCE OF THE PEACE, DEFINING THE OFFENSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VILATION THEREOF. SECTION 1. That it shall be a misdemeanor to do or cause to be done any of the following acts and nay person convicted thereof shall be fined not less than One Dollar nor more than Twenty-five Dollars. SECTION 2. It is unlawful to use rude, boisterous, offensive, obscene or blasphenous language in any public or private place, or to make and countenance or assist in making any improper noise, disturb- ance, breach of the peace, or to conduct one's self in a disorderly way in any public or private place or in any other place within the town limits.
