Ordinance Number 1-52
AN ORDINANCE CREATING SEWER DISTRICT NUMBER ONE IN THE TOWN OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA DEFINING THE AREA THEREOF PROVIDING THE PUBLIC AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO,
OKLHAOMA, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE I.
A sewer district ishereby creaded and established in the town of
Owasso, Oklahoma and said sewer district shall be comprised of the following
area, to-with:
13, -3, 4-5-6-10-11
Blocks 5, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24,
25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33 of the original town
of Owasso, Oklahoma.
ARTICLE II.
Sewer constructed in said district shall be conned with the
public sewer system of the town of Owasso.
ARTICLE III.
The district above defined may be subdivied, enlarged or changed
by ordinance at any time previous to the actual commencing of construction
of sewer in said district.
ARTICLE IV.
Upon the passage of this ordiance, the chairman of the Board of
Trustees is authorized and directed to make the necessary arraigments with
a duly licensed or registered professional engineer for plans, profiles and
specifications for the construciton of such sewer togther with an estimate
of the cost thereof. Upon approve of such plans, the chairman of the Board
of Trustees shall advertise for sealed bids for the performance of such work
as provided by the laws of the state of okalhoma and shall give or cause to
be given all notices required by law.
ARTICE V.
It being necessary for the preservation of the public health and
saferty an emergency is hereby declaed and this ordinance shall take effect
immediatly upon approval.
Passed and enacted, and the emergency clause voted upon and apped
this 2nd day of march, 1953.
