AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION
OF THE PLUMBING CODE OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, STATE OF OKLAHOMA.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and board of Trustees of the
City of Owasso, State of Oklahoma.
1. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of the Plumbing Code of the City of Owasso, State of Oklahoma,
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeaor and upon conviction
thereof shall be fined in the amount of Twenty-five Dollars
($25.00)
2. Emergency Clause. For the immediate preservance of
the public health and safety an emergency is hereby declared
to exist by reason whereof this ordinance shall take effect
and be in full force from and after the passage, approval and
posting of the same.
PASSED by the Board of Trustees this 5th day of December,
1955.
APPROVED by the Mayor this 5th day of Deecmber, 1955.

AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE APPOINTED OFFICE OF DEPUTY
CLERK OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, DEFINING
THE DUTIES OF THE DEPUTY CLERK; FIXING THE TENURE OF
OFFICE; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Organization. The appointed office of
Deputy Clerk is hereby created and shall consist of the
Deputy Clerk, who shall be appointed by the President and
confirmed by the Board of Trustees, for a term not to
exceed one (1) year, at a salary to be specified by the
Board of Trustees.
SECTION 2. Duties. The Deputy Clerk shall be responsible
for the billing and collecting of all utlity
charges, including water and sewer for the Town of Owasso
and shall keep and maintain all books, papers, ledgers
and accounts as may be prescribed by the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 3. To give bond. The Deputy Clerk shall,
within ten (10) days after appointment, give bonds, payable
to the Town, with free hold surities, to such as amout as
the Board of Trustees shall direct; but in no event shall
said bend be for an amout less than Five Thousand Dollars
($5,000.00)
SECTION 4. Severability. In the event any section,
phrase, part or parts of this ordinance shall be adjudged
void by any court of competent jurisdiction, such section,
phrase, part or parts so adjusged void shall be deemed
severable and separable, and the remainder of this ordinance
shall remain in full force and effect. It is hereby declared
to be the intent of the Board of Trustees that this ordinance
would hace been adopted has such void or unconstitutional
provisions, if any, not being included herein.
SECTION 5. Emergency. It being necessary for the
preservation of the public health and safety, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance to take
effect immediately upon approval.
PASSED AND ENACTED AND THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE VOTED
UPON AND PASSED SEPARATELY THIS 23RD DAY OF
JULY, 1953.
