Call to Order Chair Bill Bush called the meeting to order at 7:19 pm. 2. Roll Call Present Absent Chair - Bill Bush Trustee - Lyndell Dunn Vice Chair- Kelly Lewis Trustee - Alvin Fruga Trustee - Doug Bonebrake A quorum was declared present. Stevens, Authority Clerk TO: The Honorable Chair and Trustees Owasso Public Works Authority (OPWA) FROM: Roger Stevens Public Works Director SUBJECT: Easement Obtainment - Ranch Creek Interceptor Upgrade from East 96th Street to East 116th Street North DATE: May 28, 2021 BACKGROUND: On May 4, 2021, OPWA Trustees approved a consultant agreement with Terra Acquisition Services for the acquisition of permanent and temporary easements for the Ranch Creek Interceptor Upgrade from East 961h Street North to East 116th Street North. Negotiations for the purchase of permanent easement and temporary easement from two property owners have been successfully completed and staff is seeking OPWA authorization to purchase the easement. The negotiated offer for permanent easement is $0.50 per square foot and $0.25 per square foot for temporary easement. DESCRIPTIONS /PURCHASE PRICE: Dominion Corp. = Total cost $31,363.20 Easement located between East 96th Street North and East 106th Street North, just west of Mingo Road 16,1 17.20 square feet of permanent easement for $8,058.60 • 93,218.40 square feet of temporary easement for $23,304.60 Glen Wood Homes, L.P. = Total cost $26,213.50 Easement located between East 106th Street North and East 116th Street North, just west of Mingo Road • 14,529.80 square feet of permanent easement for $7,264.90 • 75,794.40 square feet of temporary easement for $18,948.60 FUNDING: Funding for the easement obtainment is included in the OPWA Budget. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends authorization for payment in the amount of $31,363.20, to Dominion Corp.. for the acquisition of 16,1170.20 square feet of permanent easement and 93,218.40 square feet of temporary easement between East 96th Street North and East 106th Street North, just west of Mingo Road; and, authorization for payment in the amount of $26,213.50, to Glen Wood Homes, L.P. for the acquisition of 14,529.80 square feet of permanent easement and 75,794.40 square feet of temporary easement between East 106th Street North and East 116th Street North, just west of Mingo Road.
