This item was presented to the Technical Advisory Committee meeting

1. The building on the property west of this site may encroach
on this site. This encroachment should be shown on the site
plan to be sure there is adequate driveway to the back of the
new building, particularly for trash pick up.
2. The concrete drive, northwest of the new building, should be
widened to allow for a straighter approach to the parking lot
exit for vehicles coming from the back of the building.
3. An erosion protection detail for the stormwater draining off
the property should be included.
After discussion, a motion was made by S. Butler, seconded by
E. Henry, to table this item until the above mentioned comments
were addressed and the following items are addressed and returned
to the TAC for further review:

Mr. Jim Dunlap
City Planner
City of Owasso
Dear Sir:
This is a request to grant a close of easement (partial
vacation of easement) for a new, partially constructed
structure (detached garage) which encroaches approximately
18 inches into a 17'6" wide utility easement as illustrated
in the enclosed survey. This request is for only that
portion of the easement upon which the building encroaches.
This request is based on the following considerations:
(1) The easement had been flagged wherein lies a sewer
line parallel to and approximately 13`6" from the west side
of the building in question. No other utilities were flagged
directly west of the building; and
(2) It is our desire to not change the location of the
building for both esthetic as well as financial reasons.
Thank you for your consideration.
