The Owasso Planning Commission met in regular session at City Hall 7:30 P.M.
November 3, 1966.

A letter was read from Robert H. Breeden, Director of Oklahoma Industrial Deveoopment
and Park Department on reason for delays in grant.
Steps of planning outlined by John R. Groth.
Plans for a laundry building to be constructed on the South 105' of Lots 9,10,and 11,
O.T.was presented by D. M. Sokolosky. Mr. Groth stated that the policy of the city
council was to allow no more diagonal parking on public property. Diagonal parking
around the laundry was requested by Sokolosky who will hard surface the main street -
side of the laundry.
A. B. Hoop made the motion that we accept the building plans of the laundry to be
constructed on the above lots. Seconded by Groth. Ayes: Lewis, Groth, Roop, Dunaway,
Whitaker.
H. D. Hale, W. N. Hale and Mr. Ray Clark met with the Commission and submitted a
chart and plat of 80 acre tract located two miles north of the water tank on Highway 75.
Lots to be 3/4 acre to three acres in size. Plat left with Commission for reference.
A plat of Hale Addition located north of Starlane and west of Rayola Additions was
submitted to the Commission for their consideration and approval. Said lots of this
addition shall be utilized for the purposes described and set forth as follows:
Lot 1 of Block 1, shall be used for a residential apartment house complex;
Lots 2 thru 11 of Block 1 shall be used for residential single family dwelling units;
Lots 1,2,3,4,17,18,19, and 20 of Block 2 shall be used for Townhouse Condominium
Quadruplex units;
Lots 5,6,15, and 16 of Block2 shall be used for residential duplex units;
Lots -7 thru 14 of Block 2 shall be used for residential single family dwelling units;
Lots 1 thru 8. Block 3, shall be used for residential single family dwelling units;
Lots 9 and 10, Block 3, shall be used for a children's nursery unit;
Lotll, Block 3, shall be used as a common parking lot for the children's nursery unit
and the Senior Citizen's Nursing Home;
Lots 12, 13, 14 of Block 3 shall be used for the Senior Citizen's Nursing Home.
Homes to be Brick Veneer, $10,000.00 valuation-. -,This area to be equal or greater than
the surrounding areas. Screening around apartment house to be on east side and south
side.
Motion made by Bernice Dunaway to accept the zoning as presented by Herb Hale and set
forth in the minutes. Seconded by John Groth. Ayes: Bill Whitaker, Bernice Dunaway,
Vernon Lewis, A. B. Roop.
