Tuesday, May 26, 1992, 5:30 p.m. Owasso City Hall MEMBERS PRESENT Tom Rikkola Brian Skelton Glenna Anderson Bob Oldefest Ed Sokolosky STAFF PRESENT Marcia Boutwell Rodney Ray Sherry Bishop The Owasso Public Golf Authority met in regular session on Tuesday, May 26, 1992 at 5:30 p.m. in the Owasso City Hall Conference Room per the Notice of Public Meeting posted on the City Hall bulletin board at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 1992. • •� Chairperson Tom Rikkola called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. and declared a quorum present. ITEM 2: REQUEST APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF APRIL 28, 1992 REGULAR MEETING Bob Oldefest moved to approve the minutes of April 28, 1992 as written; seconded by Brian Skelton. Motion carried 5-0. Four requisitions were submitted for payment, with a total amount of $478,044.00. Glenna Anderson moved to approve payment of the requisitions. Motion was seconded by Bob Oldefest and carried 5-0. ITEM 4: PRESENTATION OF THE BAILEY GOLF COURSE National Golf Properties withdrew their request to make a proposal and did not appear. Owasso Public Golf Authority Minutes of May 26, 1992 Page 2 ITEM 5: PRESENTATION OF PROPOSAL BY WESTERN GOLF PROPERTIES, INC. SCOTTSDALE, AZ FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE BAILEY RANCH GOLF COURSE Mark Kizziar, Vice President of Western Golf Properties, Inc. was present to make a proposal for the total management of the golf course and to answer questions. No action was required. ITEM 6: CONSIDERATION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR A CHANGE ORDER TO A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE AUTHORITY AND POE & ASSOCIATES, CONSULTING ENGINEERS., PROVIDING FOR A REDUCTION IN THE CONTRACT AMOUNT The scope of the contract with Poe & Associates for the cart underpass included the design of a detour on Stith Street. Since it has been decided that 86th Street will be closed during the construction of the underpass, a detour did not have to be designed. Poe & Associates is proposing a reduction in their fee of $605.00. Bob Oldefest moved to accept Poe & Associates contract reduction proposal. Motion was seconded by Brian Skelton and carried 5-0. Bland Pittman discussed the progress of the golf course construction to date. Stormwater detention for the entire tract was also discussed briefly. 12, MIS Ed Sokolosky moved, seconded by Bob Oldefest to adjourn.
