Consider Approval of the Minutes of July 28, 1998 Regular Meeting.
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING
4. OBOA-98-17 - A request by Precision Components Co., applicant, for a Variance of the
Owasso Zoning Code, Section 730, to allow for the development of an industrially zoned
property with less than the required 75 foot setback from an abutting residential property.
The subject property is currently zoned IL (Industrial Light) Zoning District and is
located at 209 E 5"' Ave.
OBOA-98-18 — A request from Robert E. and L. Annette Zumwalt, applicants, for a for a
Variance of the Owasso Zoning Code — Chapter 4, Section 430, Bulk And Area
Requirements In Residential Districts, to allow for a deviation in the rear yard setback in
an RS-2 (Residential Single Family) zoning district. The applicants request a variance to
allow the encroachment of a patio cover into the required rear yard setback by a distance
of approximately 2'1". The subject pro?erty is described as Lot 32, Block 4, Barrington
Estates, further described as 9022 N 137 E Ave.
6. OBOA-98-19 — A request from James E. Carpenter, applicant, for a Special Exception of
the Owasso Zoning Code — Chapter 4, Section 420.2, Accessory Use Conditions In
Residential Districts, to allow for a carport on property currently zoned RS-3 (Residential
Single -Family High Density) zoning district. The subject property is located at 410 N
Dogwood Street, further described as Lot 15, Block 4, Marywood Addition.
7. OBOA-98-20 - A request from the United States Postal Service, the property owner, for a
Variance of the Owasso Zoning Code - Chapter 6, Section 630, to allow for an
encroachment of 14 feet into the front yard setback on property currently zoned CG
(General Commercial) Zoning District. The subject property is located at 1233 N Cedar
Street, further described as follows Lot 1, Block 1, Owasso Post Office Addition.
OBOA-98-21 - A request from Toby L. and K. Colleen Joplin, applicants, for a
Variance of the Owasso Zoning Code - Chapter 4, Section 430, Bulk And Area
Requirements In Residential Districts, to allow for a deviation in the side yard setbacks
on a property currently zoned RS-3 (Residential Single -Family High Density) Zoning
District. The applicants request a variance to allow for encroachments into the side
yards of 1' on the south side and 3" on the north side on an existing structure. The
property is located at 12407 E 90"' Street N, further described as Lot 8, Block 3,
Lakeridge Addition.
