MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
TUESDAY, July 22, 2025
The Owasso Board of Adjustment met in regular session on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in the Council Chambers
at Old Central, 109 North Birch Street, Owasso, Oklahoma, per the Notice of Public Meeting filed Friday,
December 13, 2024; and the agenda filed in the office of the City Clerk and posted at City Hall, 200 South
Main Street, at 2:30 pm on Monday, July 14, 2025.
1. Call to Order- Mr. Davis called the meeting to order at 6:05 pm.
2. Roll Call- A quorum was declared present.
PRESENT: ABSENT: STAFF:
Chair- Kyle Davis Board Member -Joe Ramey Brian Dempster, Community Dev. Director
Vice Chair- Heather Cunningham Board Member- Jim Bausch Alexa Beemer, Planning Manager
Board Member- Dean Knoten Cyndi Townsend, Recording Secretary
Julie Lombardi, City Attorney
3. Consideration and appropriate action relating to the minutes of the June 24, 2025, Regular Meeting
Mr. Knoten moved, seconded by Mr. Davis, to approve the Minutes as presented.
YEA: Davis, Cunningham, Knoten
NAY: None
Motion carried: 3-0
4. Consideration and appropriate action relating to a request for a special exception (OBOA 25-07) to
allow the construction of an accessory building in excess of the maximum allowed square footage for
an accessory building in a Residential Single Family (RS-3) zoning district, for property approximately
0.30 acres +/-, located at 8703 North 124ih East Avenue
Alexa Beemer presented the item, recommending approval. There were no comments from the
audience. After discussion, Mr. Knoten moved, seconded by Mr. Davis, to approve the special
exception OBOA 25-07, as recommended.

NAY: None
Motion carried: 3-0
5. Report from Board of Adjustment Members -None
6. New Business - None

Mr. Davis moved, seconded by Mrs. Cunningham, to adjourn the meeting.

NAY: None
Motion carried: 3-0 and the meeting adjourned at 6:11 p.m.
