HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000.10.03_OPGA MinutesOWASSO PUBLIC GOLF AUTHORITY MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING Tuesday, October 3, 2000 The Owasso Public Golf Authority met in a regular session on Tuesday, October 3, 2000 in the Council Chambers at the Owasso Community Center per the Notice of Public Meeting and Agenda posted on the City Hall bulletin board at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2000. ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER Chairman Williams called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ITEM 2: FLAG SALUTE The flag salute was held during the City Council meeting preceding this meeting. ITEM 3: ROLL CALL PRESENT ABSENT H C "Will" Williams, Chair Mary Lou Barnhouse, Vice Chair Melinda Voss, Trustee Randy Brogdon, Trustee STAFF Larry Mitchell, City Manager Ronald D Cates, Authority Attorney Marcia Boutwell, Authority Secretary A quorum was declared present. ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA A. Approval of the Minutes of September 19, 2000 Regular Meeting. B. Approval of Claims. The consent agenda included minutes of the September 19, 2000 regular meeting, by reference made a part hereto. Item B on the consent agenda included the following claims: (1) Bailey Ranch Golf Club $60,004.25; (2) Payroll $25,299.10. Ms Voss moved, seconded by Ms Barnhouse, to approve the consent agenda. AYE: Voss, Barnhouse, Brogdon, Williams NAY: None Motion carried 4-0. Owasso Public Golf Authority October 3, 2000 ITEM 5: REPORT FROM OPGA MANAGER No report. ITEM 6: REPORT FROM OPGA ATTORNEY. No report. ITEM 7: NEW BUSINESS. Chainnan Williams recognized members of Boy Scout Troop 80, who were in attendance. ITEM 8: ADJOURNMENT Ms Voss moved, seconded by Ms Barnhouse to adjourn.
