All matters listed under "Consent" are considered by the Trustees to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. Any Trustee may, however, remove an item from consent by request. Mr Lehr Attachment #5 The staff will recommend that the Trustees declare as surplus a portable building being utilized as a temporary clubhouse at Bailey Ranch Golf Club, and authorize the negotiable sale or trade of such property. 6. Adjournment i1a ' OWASSO PUBLIC GOLF AUTHORITY MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING Tuesday, September 15, 1998 The Owasso Public Golf Authority met in regular session on Tuesday, September 15, 1998 in the Council Chambers at the Owasso Community Center per the Notice of Public Meeting and ' Agenda posted on the City Hall bulletin board at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 1998. ' ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER Vice Chairman Wilken called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. ITEM 2: FLAG SALUTE The flag salute was given during the City Council meeting preceding this meeting. ITEM 3: ROLL CALL PRESENT Mark Wilken, Vice Chair Mary Lou Barnhouse, Trustee Melinda Voss, Trustee STAFF Jeff Hancock, City Manager Ronald D Cates, Authority Attorney Marcia Boutwell, Authority Secretary A quorum was declared present. ABSENT Denise Bode, Chair Unfilled Position ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA. A. Approval of the Minutes of September 1, 1998 Regular Meeting. B. Approval of Claims Ms Voss moved, seconded by Ms Barnhouse, to approve the consent agenda. The consent agenda included minutes of the September 1, 1998 regular meeting, by reference made a part hereto. Item B on the consent agenda included the following claims: (1) Bailey Ranch Golf Club $16,825.76; (2) Interfund Transfers $608.33; (3) Payroll $16,323.79. Cart Operations 0.00 1,811.92 Food & Beverage 42.00 1,838.00 FUND (TOTAL $42 00 $16,20915 10/06/98 Chairman Trustee Trustee MEMORANDUM TO: THE HONORABLE CHAIR AND TRUSTEES OWASSO PUBLIC GOLF AUTHORITY FROM: WARREN LEHR DIRECTOR OF GOLF SUBJECT: SALE OF TEMPORARY CLUBHOUSE DATE: September 16, 1998 BACKGROUND: In the Spring of 1993, prior to the golf course opening, the OPGA authorized the lease purchase of a temporary clubhouse facility which was custom designed for our use. Payments on this facility were completed in July 1998, and the OPGA now owns this portable building. With the construction of our new clubhouse scheduled to be complete by January of 1999, this facility will be surplus to the needs of the OPGA. RECOMMENDATION: The staff recommends that the OPGA declare the temporary clubhouse and all chrome merchandise fixtures therein surplus to the needs of the OPGA and authorize the solicitation of such for sale or trade, pursuant to City Code, Section 7-108.
