Bid packets were prepared and mailed to five vendors. Two vendors responded with bids, and one "no -bid" was received. Bids were opened by the City Clerk on February 1lth, with bids being received from the two leading golf cart manufacturers, E-Z-GO Textron and Club Car (Justice). Those bids are attached for your review. The Justice Golf Car bid came in $1062.00 lower than the E-Z-GO bid. We have had very good experience with I Justice in terms of their ability to deliver, stand behind their products, and provide excellent service. FUNDING: The purchase of new golf cart batteries is funded in the FY96-97 Golf Budget. IRECOMMENDATION: The staff recommends that the OPGA accept the bid proposal for the purchase of 360 (60 sets) of new Trojan T-105, 6-Volt, Deep Cycle, golf cart batteries from Justice Golf Car Company (Club Car), Oklahoma City, OK, at a total cost of $14,958.
