RESOLUTION NO. 2008-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORTY
( "OPWA ") OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, DESIGNATING
THE MANAGER OF THE OPWA AS THE OPWA SETTLEMENT
REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE TO BE
HELD ON JUNE 11, 2008 IN THE LITIGATION STYLED
WASHINGTON COUNTY RURAL WATER DISTRICT #3 v. THE OPWA,
AND ADDITIONALLY GRANTING FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT
AUTHORITY IN THIS ACTION TO THE MANAGER FOR PURPOSES
OF THE SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE.
WHEREAS, The OPWA is a party to litigation currently filed in the U.S. District Court
for the Northern District of Oklahoma captioned as Washington County Rural Water District #3
v. the OPWA, and,
WHEREAS, The OPWA has been ordered to attend, through an authorized settlement
representative, a settlement conference before the Court to occur on the l 1tn day of June 2008, in
the United States Courthouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and,
WHEREAS, The OPWA wishes to vest full and final settlement authority in the
Manager of the OPWA for purposes of the settlement conference,
THE OPWA HEREBY ADOPTS THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OPWA THAT: Rodney J. Ray,
in his capacity as Manager of the OPWA, is hereby designated as the settlement representative of
the OPWA for purposes of the above - described settlement conference,
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOVED THAT: Rodney J. Ray is hereby vested with full and
final settlement authority on behalf of the OPWA for purposes of the settlement conference to be
held on June 11, 2008.
