CALL TO ORDER MEMBERS ABSENT STAFF PRESENT Sherry Bishop Steve Compton Charlotte White Rodney Ray Bob Allen Robert Carr Maria Alexander Vice Chairperson Brenda Lawrence called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. and declared a quorum present. 2. REQUEST APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 8,1993 REGULAR MEETING Bob Randolph moved to approve the minutes as written. Motion seconded by Tom . Kimball. A vote on the motion was recorded as follows: Bob Randolph - Yes Tom Kimball - Yes Judy Pruitt - Yes Frank Enzbrenner - Yes Brenda Lawrence - Yes Alan Anderson - Yes Bill Retherford - Yes The motion carried 7 -0. 3 REQUEST APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Bob Randolph moved to approve the claim for $920.29 for materials /interior for Max Buchanan as submitted. Motion was seconded by Tom Kimball. A vote on the motion was recorded as follows: Bob Randolph - Yes Tom Kimball - Yes Judy Pruitt - Yes Frank Enzbrenner - Yes Brenda Lawrence - Yes Alan Anderson - Yes • Bill Retherford - Yes The motion carried 7 -0. PRESENTATION, DISCUSSION, AND ACTION CONCERNING THE 1/2 CENT SALES TAX PROPOSAL FOR FUNDING PUBLIC SAFETY NEEDS Report by Mr. Ray. 6. DISCUSSION AND ACTION CONCERNING APPROVAL OF AN EXPENDITURE OF $1000.00 SUPPORTING A JOINT EXHIBITION FOR OWASSO AT THE '94 TULSA HOME & GARDEN SHOW After discussion, Tom Kimball moved to approve the expenditure of $1000.00 for the '94 Tulsa Home & Garden Show. Motion seconded by Frank Enzbrenner. A vote on the motion was recorded as follows: Tom Kimball - Yes Frank Enzbrenner - Yes Alan Anderson - Yes Brenda Lawrence - Yes • Bob Randolph - Yes Bill Retherford - Yes Judy Pruitt - Yes The motion carried 7 -0. 7.
