October 12, 1992
The Owasso Sales Tax Watchdog Committee met in regular session on Monday, October 12,
1992 at 7:00 PM in Room �1 of the Owasso Community Center located at 301 S. Cedar,
Owasso, Oklahoma per Notice of Public Meeting and Agenda posted on the city hall bulletin
board at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 1992.
Item 1: Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mr. Philippi at 7:02 p.m,
Item 2: Roll Call
Members Present:
John Groth, Steve Holleman, Tom Kimball, John Leach, Harold Merrill, Michael Phillipi, Bill
Williams, Pat Woods, Mike Nance (7:12)
Members Absent:
Bob Banes, Steve Barrett, Peggy Robinson, Dan Siemens, Mike Watson
Staff Present:
Rodney Ray, Sherry Bishop, Steve Compton, Jo Ellen Krantz
Motion to approve the minutes as presented was made by Mr. Williams and seconded by Mr.
Kimball. Motion Passed.
Item 4: Presentation & Discussion of Financial Re orts
Ms. Bishop presented current financial reports and responded to questions from the committee.
Specifically, the committee requested clarification regarding the capital future fund and debt
service schedule.
In response to additional discussion, copies of the recent study comparing ad valorem tax rates
of Tulsa area communities will be distributed to each committee member for his/her review with
the next agenda mailing.

Mr. Ray gave progress reports on the various projects including the anticipated phases of the
fir. nding 76th Street Improvements (I. Railroad Crossing 2. Intersection Improvements 3. Four--
(aning of the road.)
Item 7: Consideration of and Appropriate Action Relating to a Request to Declare Vacant
a Seat on the Committee.

There being no further business to come before the committee, Mr. Merrill moved that the
meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Mr. Kimball. Motion passed. Meeting was
adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
