HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993.07.12_Sales Tax Watchdog MinutesSales a Watchdog Committl City of Owasso July 12, 1993 The Owasso Sales Tax Watchdog Committee met in regular session on Monday, July 12, 1993 at 7 :00 pemo in the public meeting room at the Owasso Library per Notice of Public Meeting and Agenda posted on the City Mall bulletin board at 4 :00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 1993, ITEM 1: Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6 :10 p.m. by Dan Siemens in the absence of the Chair and Vice Chair, ITEM 2: Roll Call MEMBERS PRESS Tom Kimball, Dan Siemens (out at 7 :40), Steve Holleman (out at 7 :55), Pat Woods, John Leach, John Groth, Vicki Tapp, Michael Philippi (in at 7 :15) MEMBERS ABSENT: Peggy Robinson, Harold Merrill, Bill Williams, Mire Nance, Billie Fulbright, Steve Barrett STAFF PRESENT: Rodney Ray, Sherry Bishop, Steve Compton, Marcia Boutwell ITEM 3: Reouest Approvall ®f Minutes of A ril 12 1993 Regular Meeti� John (.both moved, seconded by John Leach, to approve the minutes as written. Motion carried 7 -0. ITEM 4: Presentation and Discussion of Financial Reoorts Ms. Bishop presented the committee with updated reports on the budgeted items from the bond issue and the bond payment schedule. All of the original projects have now been completed. The fire station project is under way. All new projects will be listed under capital improvements on the next report to the committee. Sales tax revenue from the third penney is beyond what was projected. ITEM 5: Consideration & App oval of Dual °terly Report for Public Distribution The Committee discussed Progress Report No. 17 for the period ending June 30, 1993. Dan Siemens moved to approve Report No, 17° Motion was seconded by Steve Holleman and carried 8 -0.
