The Owasso Sales Tax Watchdog Committee met in regular session on Monday,
October 10, 1994 at 7 :00 p.m. in the Owasso Community Center per Notice of Public Meeting
and Agenda posted on the City Mall bulletin board at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 1994,
ITEM 1: Call to Order
Chairperson Michael Philippi called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

The 96th Street Overlay project will be accomplished from Garnett Road west to the second
entrance at the new elementary school. The Residential Street Overlay project and Hale Acres
Drainage project are progressing. Staff is preparing bids for the Sports Park Phase IV Fencing
project. Mr Groth questioned the continued night use of the fields at Rayola Park. Plans are
to no longer use those fields at night.
ITEM 7' REQUEST APPROV
The fire station project has been completed and was accepted by the City as complete on
July 19, 1994. Total cost of the facility was $530,000. The firefighters have subsequently
completed the training room. Tom Kimball moved to approve the completion report for the fire
station and recommended that a letter be sent from this committee to the firefighters
complimenting them on the work that they did on the project. Motion seconded by Harold
Merrill and carried 10 -0.

The Committee discussed Progress Report No 22 for the period ending September 30, 1994.
John Groth moved, seconded by Steve Holleman, to approve Quarterly Report No 22. Motion
carried 10 -0.
