HomeMy WebLinkAbout005_Non-Resident Plumbers License FeeAn Ordinance amending Section 3 of Chapter one Title 11 of the Revised ordiances of Owasso Oklahoma by including said section and in addition thereto a provision for a $50.00 License fee for non-resident Plumbers and Definingthe term "non-resident plumber" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 3, Chapter One (1) of Title Elevan (11) of the Revised Ordinances of Owasso, Oklahoma shall be amended to read as follows: "Section 3. License Fee. The Town Clerk Shall collect the sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars per annum or fraction there of (in no case less that $2.50) for the issuance of any plumber's license orthe renewal of any such license. No person shall exercise the trade of plumbing or do any plumbing in the Town without having first obtained, from the Town Clerk, a license for such work; provided, that any person who is a non-residen of Owasso, Oklahoma shall be charged and shall pay a license fee of fifty ($50.00) Dollars per annum or fraction thereof (in no case less than $15.00) to the Town Clerk. "For the purposes of this Ordinance, a non-resident plumber shall mean any person who exercises the trade of plumbing within the Town limits and such person is not a resident within the incorporated limits of the Town of Owasso; provided, that a plumber may be considered a resident plumber under this ordinance if saild person operates and maintains a plumbing establishment and business within the Town limits and provided further that such person shall operate a permanent rather than a transient business. A plumbing establishement and business shall be deemed permanent if the business in such establishement is to be carried on or operated for a period grater than one year. signed this 3red day of november 1958 C.
