Ordinance No 17
Section 1
Whereas, it is necessary that the City of Owasso keep some order
in the place and type of buildings moved in, completely built, or added
onto in order to provide for orderly growth and development of the Town
of Owasso.
Therefore it is hereby ordained by the Board of Trustees of the
Town of Owasso as follows:
That all buildings, either houses, business buildings, factories,
or any type, either built, moved into town, or added onto, may be
done only after approval by the City Clerk or assistant to the
City clerk and only upon payment of $10.00 and issuance of a building
permit by the City Clerk or Assistant to the City clerk under the
authority of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso.
Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be filed $25.00
for each day that he is in violation of the terms of this ordinance.
Section 11
An emergency exitsts for the preservation of the public health,
peave and safety and for the furtherance of the public health, by reason
whereof, this ordinance shall take effect from and after it's passage,
approval and publication.
PASSEDM and the emergency clause ruled upon separately and approved this 16th day of January, 1961.
