Water Service Charge of $1.00 Pet Runth Repealed

P' !T ORDAIIN-ED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso, Okla-
home, that the Revised Ordinances for the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, 195Y,
Chapter 3, Section 2, Title 14, and Ordinance W. 26, vWch at the present
time reads as follows:
Section 2. Rates of Charge. For the purpose of providin

funds for the maintenance, repair, extension and operation
of the water system of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, there
is hereby imposed and established the following water service
charge of fees:
One dollar Q1.00) per month to be charged against
each water meter in use within the city limits of
tin Town of Owasso.,
be amended to read as follows:
Section 2. Rates of Charge, No service charge shall be
charged against any water meter in use within the city
limits of the Town of Owasso.
All provisions of said Chapter 3, Title 14, of the Revised O rdinances
of the Town of Owasso 1957, shall remain unchanged.

Section 11
An emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace
and safety and for the furtherance of the public health, by reason whereof,
this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication.

AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE POLICY AND PURPOSE OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA,
TO EXTEND TO THE EMPLOYEES AND OFFICIALS OF SAID TOWN, NOT EXCLUDED BY LAW OR
THIS ORDINANCE, WEATHER EMPLOYED IN CONNECTION WITH A GOVERNMENTAL OR PROPITARY
FUNCTION OF SAID TOWN, THE BENEFITS OF THE SYSTEM OF FEDERAL OLD-AGE AND
SURVIVORS INSURANCE, AS AUTHORIZED BY THE FEDERAL SOCIAL SECURITY ACT, AND
AMENDS THERETO, UPON THE BASIS OF APPLICABLE STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS OR
RECULATIONS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTIN THE CHAIRMAN, TOWN BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO
EXECUTE AGREEMENTS AND AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE SATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WELFACE, AS AGENT OR AGENCY, FOR COVERAGE OF SAID EMPLOYEES AND OFFICIALS
OF SAID TOWN SO COVERED TO BE MADE AND PAID OVER AS PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE STATE
OR FEDERAL LAWS OR REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT SAID TOWN SHALL APPROPRIATE AND
PAY OVER EMPLOYEE'S CONTRIBUTIONS AS PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE STATE OR FEDERAL
LAWS OR REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT SAID TOWN SHALL KEEP RECOREDS AND MAKE
REPORTS AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE STATE OR FEDERAL LAWS OR REGULATIONS;EXCLUDING
FROM THE ORDINANCE ANY AUTHORITY TO MAKE ANY AGREEMENT WITH RESPECT TO ANY
POSITION, EMPLOYEE OR OFFICIAL NOW CONVERED OR AUTHORIZED TO BE COVERED BY ANY
OTHER ORDINANCE CREATING ANY RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR ANY EMPLOYY OR OFFICIAL OF
SAID TOWN; EXCLUDING FROM THIS ORDINANCE ANY AUTHORITY TO MAKE ANY AGREEMENT
WITH RESPECT TO ANY POSITION, EMPLOYEE OR OFFICIAL NOT AUTHORIZED TO BE
COVERED UNDER APPLICABLE STATE OR FEDERAL LAWS OR REGULATIONS; AND DELCARING AN
EMERGENCY.
