AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING, ADDING AND ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THE WEST ONE-
HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF SECTION THIRTY, TOWNSHIP TWENTY-ONE (21) NORTH RANGE FOURTEEN (14)
EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, IN THE COUNTY OF TULSA, STATE OF OKLAHOMA; DECLARING
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SUCH ANNEXATION TO BE MARCH 16, 1964; PROVIDING THAT FROM AND AFTER
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE, ALL OF SAID REAL ESTATE SHALL BE A PART OF THE TOWN
OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AND ALL PERSONS RESIDING THEREIN AND ALL PROPERTY SITUATED THEREON
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURSIDICTION, CONTROL AND ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA,
IN ALL RESPECTS AND PARTICULARS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASS, OKLAHOMA,
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed and presented by the owasso independant school director
number elevan(11), by and through its president, John H. Kornegay, joined and attested by
Boyd M. Spencer, Clerk of the School Board of said petitioner, as sole owner, petitiong
and requestion that the following described real property, to-wit:
The West Half of the Southeast quarter of the southeast quarter
of the southeast quarter of section thirty (30), township twenty-one (21)
north, range fourteen (14) East of the indian base and meridian, in the county of
Tulsa, State of Oklahoma, according to the United States Survey thereof,
be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation
of said petition having been duly and regulary given and published once in each week for
two successive weeks in The Collinsville News, a newspaper fully qualified under the laws
of the State of Oklahoma and such publications, and published nearest to the Town of Owasso,
Oklhoma, and proof of publication having been duly filed all as required by law,
AND, WHEREAS said described property is adjacent to the present boundary line of the
corporate limits of the said Town of Owasso, and it is to be mutual advantage, benefit
and welfare of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the said Owasso Independent School District
Number Elevan (11), sole owner, that said petitionbe allowed and the request granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS;
Section 1. That the request and petition of Owasso Independent School District Number
Eleven (11) herein referred to be granted and allowed.
Section 2. That the following tract and parcel of land, to-wit:
The West Half of the Southeast quarter of the southeast quarter
of the southeast quarter of section thirty (30), township twenty-one (21)
north, range fourteen (14) East of the indian base and meridian, in the county of
Tulsa, State of Oklahoma, according to the United States Survey thereof,
be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation
having been lawfully given as provided by law, the same is hereby admitte4d to and taken into
the corporate limits of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma.
Section 3. That from and after the affective date of this ordinance, all of said real estate
described herein shall bepart of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma, and all persons
residing therein and all property situated thereon shall be subject to the jurisdiction,
Section 4. That an emergency exitsts for the preservation of the public health, peace,
safety and welfare, by reason whereof this ordinance shall take affect from and after its
passage and approval, as provided by law.
EMERGENCY CLAUSE voted upon separately and passed by unanimous vote of the Board of
Trustees this 16th day of March, 1964.
Passed by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, this 16th day of
March, 1964.
Approved by the President of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, on
this 16th day of March, 1964.

circulation in said County, with entrance
into the United States mails as second class
mail matter in Tulsa County, and published
and printed in said County where delivered
to the United States mail, that said news-
paper has been continuously and uninter-
ruptedly published in said County ,during
a period of one- hundred four (104) con-
secutive weeks immediately prior to the
first publication of the attached notice,
advertisement or publication; and that said
newspaper comes within the requirements
of Chapter 4 of Title 25, Oklahoma Sta-
tutes 1951, as amended, and complies with
all other requirements of the laws of Ok-
lahoma with reference to legal publications.
That said notice, a true copy of which is
attached hereto, was published in the regu-
lar edition of said newspaper :during the
period and time of publication and not in
a supplement, on the following dates:
