THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE1/4)OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE1/4) OF SECTION
NINETEEN (19) TOWNSHIP TWENTY-ONE (21) NORTH, RANGE FOURTEEN (14) EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND
MERIDIAN, IN TULSA COUNTY, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, AND MORE PARTICULARY DESCRIBED AS A TRACT OF LAND
20.1 RODS (331.65 FT) NORTH AND SOUTH BY 20 RODS (330 FT) EAST AND WEST CONTAINING 2.6 ACRES IN
SAID SOUTHWEST CORNER, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, ACCORDING TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SURVEY
THEREOF; DECLARING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SUCH ANNEXATION TO BE JANUARY 4, 1965; PROVIDING THAT
THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AND ALL PERSONS RESIDING THEREIN AND ALL PROPERTY SITUATED THEREON
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURSIDICTION, CONTROL AND ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, IN
ALL RESPECTS AND PARTICULARS: REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 51 BECAUSE OF ERROR IN LAND DESCRIPTION,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed and presentedby the Bethel Baptist Church, of Owasso, Oklahoma,
an eccleasiastical corporation, by and through its moderator, Fred L. Williams, jointed
and attested by tis secertary, Norma L. Ward, as sole owner, petitioning and requesting that
the following described real propery, to-wit:
"A parcel of land situated in the Southwest corner of the Southest Quarter (SE1/4)
of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Twenty-one (21)
North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, and more particularly described as a tract of land 20.1 rods (331.65 ft.)
North and South by 20 rods (330 ft) East and West contaning approximately Two and
six tenths (2.6) acres in the said Southwest corner, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, according
to the United States Government survey thereof,
be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation of
said petition having been duly and regulary given and published once in each week for two
successive weeks in the Collinsville News, a newspaper fully qualified under the laws of the
State of Oklahoma for such publication, and published nearest to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma,
and proof of publication having been duly filed all as required by law,
AND, WHEREAS said described property is adjacent to the present boundary line of the corporate
limits of the said Town of Owasso, and it is to the mutual advantage, benefit and welfare of
the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the said Bethel Baptist Church, of Owasso, Oklahoma the sole
owner, that said petition be allowed ad request granted,
AND, WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 51, of the Town of Owasso, enacted on the 21st day of September,
1964, was intended to annex said property, but through error failed to contain the proper description
of said real property, should be vacated and repealed,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the request and petition of the Bethel Baptist Church, of Owasso, Oklahoma,
herein reffered to, be granted and allowed.
Section 2. That the following tract and parcel of land, to-wit:
"A parcel of land situated in the Southwest corner of the Southest Quarter (SE1/4)
of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Twenty-one (21)
North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, and more particularly described as a tract of land 20.1 rods (331.65 ft.)
North and South by 20 rods (330 ft) East and West contaning approximately Two and
six tenths (2.6) acres in the said Southwest corner, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, according
to the United States Government survey thereof,
be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation
having been lawfully given as provided by law, the same is hereby admitted to and taken into
the corporate limits of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma.
Section 3. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, all of said real estate
described herein shall be a part of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma, and all persons
residing herein and all property situated thereon shall be subject to the jurisdiction, control
and ordinances of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars.
Section 4. That ordinance number 51 of the Town of Owasso be and same is hereby repealed.
Section 5. That an emergency exitst for the preservation of the public health, peace, safety
and welfare, by reason whereof this ordinance, number 54, shall take affect from and after it's
passage and approval, as provided by law.
EMERGENCY CLAUSE voted upon separately and passed by unanimous vote of the Board of
Trustees this 4th day of January, 1965.
PASSED by the Board of trustees of the Town of Owasso, this 4th day of January,
1965.
APPROVED by the President of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, on

and printed in said where delivered
to the United States that said news-
paper has been and uninter-
ruptedly published in said during a
period of one-hundred con-
secutive weeks to the
first publication of the notice,
advertisement or and that said
newspaper comes within the requirements
of Chapter 4 of Title 25, Oklahoma Sta-
tutes 1951, as amended, and complies with
all other requirements of the laws of Ok-
lahoma with reference to legal publications.
