AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX, AND ADD, TO THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, FAIRVIEW CEMETERY, BEING
THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW 1/4) OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE1/4) OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER
(SW1/4) OF SECTION TWENTY-NINE (29), TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND
MERIDIAN, LESS THE SOUTH SIXTEEN AND ONE-HALF FEET (S16.5FT) COUNTY ROAD KNOWN AS 76TH
STREET NORTH, IN TULSA COUNTY, STATE OF OKLAHOMA; PROVIDING THAT FROM AND AFTER THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINAINCE, ALL OF SAID REAL PROPERTY SHALL BE A PART OF THE TOWN
OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AND ALL PERSONS RESIDING OR PRESENT THEREON AND ALL PROPERTY SITUATED
OR BEING THEREON SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURSIDICTION, CONTROL AND ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN
OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, IN ALL RESPECTS AND PARTICULARS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA;
WHEREAS the following tract and parcel of land, described as follows, to-wit:
"Fairview Cemetery, being the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Twenty-nine (29),
Township 21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, less the
South Sixteen and One-half Feet (S16.5ft) county road known as 76th Street
North, in Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma,
is adjacent to and abutting on the present boundary line of the corporate limits of the
Town of Owasso,
AND, WHEREAS said real estate is owned by the Town of Owasso, and it is to the mutual
benefit and best welfare of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the citizens of said town and
of the community that said property to annexed and become a part of the Town of Owasso,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That the above described tract and parcel of land be admitted, added to and
annexed to, and taken into the corporate limits of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma.
Section 2. That from and after the effective date of this Ordinaince, all of said real
property described herein shall be a part of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma, and all
persons being therein and all peroperty stuated thereon shall be subject to the jurisdiction,
control and ordinanaces of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars.
Section 3. That an emergency exitsts for the preservation of the public health, peace,
safety and welfare and for the stablishment of proper police protection, by reson whereof
this ordinance shall take affect from and after its passage, and approval, following proper
notice and publication thereof as required by law, and immediately upon approval and order
of the Board of County Commissioners of Tulsa County, STate of Oklahoma as provided by
the laws of the State of Oklahoma in such cases made and provided.
EMERGENCY CLAUSE voted upon separately and passed by unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees
this 16th day of March, 1965.

the County of Tulsa, State of Oklahoma, approved and ordered annexation of the real property
described in the foregoing Ordinance Number 58, said ordinance is hereby approved.

The following is a portion of the minutes of the Board of
County Commissioners of Tulsa County, Oklahoma, at a meeting held
Monday, June 14, 1964:
"A Petition having been filed in the County Clerk's
office requesting hearing before the Board of County Commissioners
on the annexation of unplatted lands to the Town
of Owasso, Notice by Publication having been given as required
by law mr. M. S. Sawyer, Attorney for the Town of Owasso,
presented good and sufficient reason for the annexation, and there
being no objections thereot, a motion made by commissioner o'Brien,
seconded by Commissioner Kinkaid, that the following
described land be ordered annexed to the Town of Owasso:
the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Twenty-nine (29),
Township 21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, less the
South Sixteen and One-half Feet (S16.5ft) county road known as 76th Street
North, in Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma,
was presented. Upon roll call, the motion was voted upon and carried."
