AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING, ADDING AND ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, A PORTION OF THE
NORTHEAST QUARTER (NE1/4), OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW1/4), OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER, OF SECTION
THIRTY (30), TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, TULSA COUNTY,
OKLAHOMA, ALL BEING MORE PARTICULARLY THEREINAFTER DESCRIBED; DECLARING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
SUCH ANNEXATION TO BE APRIL 5, 1965; PROVIDING THAT FROM AND AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINAINCE, ALL OF SAID REAL ESTATE SHALL BE A PART OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AND ALL
PERSONS RESIDING THEREIN AND ALL PROPERTY SIUTATED THEREON SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION,
CONTROL AND ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, IN ALL RESPECTS AND PARTICULARS, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
WHEREAS, a peittion has been filed and presented by one John N. Pavey and Minnie B. Pavey,
sole owners, petitioning and requesting that the following real estate, to-wit:
"The East 228 Feet of the North 120 Feet of the North One-Half (N1/2) of the
Northwest Quarter (NW1/4), of the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4), of the Northeast
Quarter (NE1/4), of Section Thirty (30), Township 21, Range 14 East of
the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, containing approximately
Sixty-three One-Hundredth (.63) acres, more or less,
be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation of
said petition having be duly and regularly given and published once in each week for two
successive weeks in the Collinsville News, a newspaper fully qualified under the laws of the
State of Oklahoma for such publication, and published nearest to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma,
and proof of publication having been duly filed all as required by law,
AND WHEREAS said described property is adjacent to the present boundary line of the corporate
limits of the said Town of Owasso, and it is to the mutual advantage, benefit and wefare of
The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the said petitioner's John N. Pavey and Minnie B. Pavey, the
sole owners thereof, that said ptition be alled and the request granted,
AND, WHEREAS, there appears no opposition to the granting of the request of said petition,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the request and petition of John N. Pavey and Minnie B. Pavey, be and the
same is hereby granted and allowed.
Section 2. That the following tract and parcel of land, to-wit:
"The East 228 Feet of the North 120 Feet of the North One-Half (N1/2) of the
Northwest Quarter (NW1/4), of the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4), of the Northeast
Quarter (NE1/4), of Section Thirty (30), Township 21, Range 14 East of
the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, containing approximately
Sixty-three One-Hundredth (.63) acres, more or less,
be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation
having been lawfully given as provided by law, same is hereby admitted to and taken into the
corporate limits of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma.
Section 3. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, all of said real estate
described herein shall be a part of the Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma, and all persons
residing therein and all property situated thereon shall be subject to the jurisdiction, control,
and ordinances of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars.
Section 4. Than an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace, safety
and welfare, by reson whereof this ordinance, Numbered 59, shall take affect from and after
its passage and approval, as provided by law.
EMERGENCY CLAUSE voted upon separately and passed by unanimous vote of the Board of
Trustees this 5th day of April, 1965.
PASSED by the BOard of Trustees of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, this 5th day of April,
1965.
APPROVED by the President of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, on
this 5th day of April, 1965.

CERTIFICATE OF POSTING
I, Josephine Downey, the duly elected, appointed and
acting Deputy Clerk, of the Town
of Owasso, Oklahoma, do hereby certify that on the 6th day
of april, 1965, I did post a copy of the
above and attached Ordinance No. 59, in each of five places
(public) in the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, as required by law.
