SECTION 3, AIR RIFLES and PISTOLS-CONFISCATION _'1:
Town Marshal, Chief of Police or otlier police officers of
the Togn of Owasso, is and are hereby authorized to seize,
remove or destroy any air rifle, air pistol or sin _
instrument in which the propeiliing force is a spring or
mid possessed in violation of this ordinance.
SECTION 4, SEVERABILlTY Should any part section,
paragraph or any section, or any part, wort phrase sentence,
or term, contained in this ordinance be declared, b a Court
of competent jurisdiction, to be uriawful or unenforceabie,
then the rest, remainder and remainding part, parts, words,
sections, parts of sections, paragraphs, phrases, sentences,
or terms contained in this ordinance, not so adjudicated,
shall remain in full force and affect,
SECTION 5. PENALTY Every person convicted of a
violation of any provision or section of this ordinance, shall
e punished by a fine not exceeding the sum of Tweni;r
fo?lars ($20.00) including costs.
ELfF.RGENCY: WHEREAS, if being immediately necessary
fen the preservation of the peace, health and safety of the
"own of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the inhabitants thereof,
that the provisions of this ordinance be put into immediate
force and affect, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
by reason of the existence of a hazard to health, peace and
safety, and by reason thereof, this ordinance shall take
affect and be in full force from and after its passage, as
provided by law.
Emergency clause voted upon separately and passed 'o--
unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees this 19th day of
September, 1966.
