HomeMy WebLinkAbout089_Hale Addition AnnexedORDINANCE NUMBER 89 AN ORDINANCE ACEPTING, ADDING AND ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE1/4) OF THE NORWEST QUARTER (NW 1/4) OF SECTION THIRTY (30) TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT 150 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE NORWEST QUARTER (NW1/4) OF SAID SECTION 30, THENCE NORTH 0, 15', 46" WEST ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER A DISTANCE OF 835 FEET TO A POINT, THENCE WEST AND PARALLED TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SECTION 30 A DISTANCE OF 592 FEET TO A POINT, THENCE SOUTH AND PARALLEL TO THE EAST LINE OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW 1/4) OF SAID SECTION 30 A DISTANCE OF 835 FEET TO A PINT, THENCE SOUTH 89, 46', 7" EAST AND PARALLEL TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW1/4) OF SAID SECTION 30 A DISTANCE OF 592 FEET TO A PINT, THE POINT OF BEGINNING, AND CONTAINING 11.01 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, IN THE COUNTY OF TULSA, STATE OF OKLAHOMA; DECLARING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SUCH ANNEXATION TO BE APRIL 3, 1967; PROVIDING THAT LL OF SAID REAL ESTATE SHALL BE PART OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, 1967; PROVIDING THAT ALL OF SAID REAL ESTATE SHALL BE A PART OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, TO THE JURISDICTINO, CONTRL AND ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAOMA IN ALL RESPECTS AND PARTICULARS; AND, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWSSO, OKLAHOMA; WHEREAS, a petition has been filed and presened by H.D. Hale, W. N. Hale and J. W. Hale, doing business as Owasso Builders Supply, as sole owners, petitioning and requesting that the following described real property, to-wit: A Part of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 30, Townshiip 21-N Range 14-E, in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, being more particulary described as follows: Beginning at a point 150 feet North of the SE Corner of the NW 1/4 of said Section 30, Thence North o, 15', 46" West along the East line of said NW 1/4 a distance of 835 feet to a point, Thence West and Parallel to the South Line of said Section 30 a distance of 592 feet to a point. Thence South and Parallel to the East Line of the NW 1/4 of said section 30 a distance of 835 feet to apoint, thence South 89, 46', 7" East and Parallel to the South Line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 30 a distance of 592 feet to a point, said point being the point of beginning and contaning 11.01 acrres, more or less, be accepted, added and annexed to The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation of said petition having been duly and regularly given and published once in each week for two successive weeks in the Tulsa County News, a newspaper fully qualified under the lwas of the State of Oklahoma, for such publication, published nearest to the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and proof of publication having been duly filed, all as required by law, AND, WHEREAS said described propertry is adjacent to the present boundary line of the corporate limits of said The Town of Owasso, and it is to the mutual advantage, benefit and welfare of The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the said H. D. Hale, W. H. Hale and J. W. Hale, doing business as Owasso Builders Supply, the sole owners of said real properry, that said petition be allowed and the request granted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the request and petition of the said H. D. Hale, W. N. Hale and J. W. Hale, doing business as Owasso Builders and Supply, herein reffered to, be granted and allowed. Section 2. That the following tract and parcel of land, to-wit: A part of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of the NOrthwest Quarter (NW1/4) of Section thirty (30), Township Twenty-one (TWP. 21) North, Range Fourteen (R. 14) East, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 150 feet North of the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) of said Section 30, Thence North 0, 15', 46" West along the East Line of said Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) a distance of 835 feet to a point; Thence West and Parallel to the South Line of said Section 30 a distance of 592 feet to a point; Thence South and Parallel to the East Line of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) of said Section 30 a distance of 835 feet to a point, Thence South 89, 46', 7" East and Parallel to the South Line of the Northwest (NW) Quarter (1/4) of said Section 30 a distance of 592 feet to a point, said point being the pont of beginning and containing 11.01 acres. more or less, be accepted, added and annexed to the Town of Owasso, Okahoma; and, notice of presentation having been lawfully given as provided, the same is hereby admitted to and taken into the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma BooK 3804 PAGE 1974 corporated limits of The Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma, said notice having been given as provided by law. Section 3. that from and after the affective date of this ordinance, all of said real estate described herein shall be a part of The Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma, and all persons residing therein and all property situated thereon shall be subject to the jurisdiction, control and ordinances of The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars. Section 4. That an emergency exists for the prservation of the public health, peace, safety and welfare, by reson whereof this ordinance shalltake affect form and after tis passage and approval, as provided by law. EMERGENCY CLAUSE voted upon separately and passed by unanimous vote of the board of Trustees this 3rd day of Paril, 1967.
