HomeMy WebLinkAbout121_W S & W Property_Ator Heights Third_AnnexedORDINANCE NUMBER 121 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING INTO AND ADDING AND ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, A PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED AS A PART OF THE EAST ONE-HALF (E1/2) OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE1/4) OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, IN TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, ACCORDING TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SURVEY THEREOF, ALL BEING MORE PARTICULARY DESCRIBED WHEREIN:; DECLARING THE AFFECTIVE DATE OF SUCH ANNEXATION TO BE NOVEMBER 17, 1969, AFTER WHICH DATE ALL OF SAID REAL ESTATE SHALL BE A PART OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AND ALL PERSONS RESIDING THEREIN AND ALL PROPERTY THEREON SITUATED SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION, CONTROL AND ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, IN ALL RESPECTS AND PARTICULARS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA: THAT WHEREAS a petition has been filed and presented by W S and W Development Company Incorporated, by and through kenneth Woods, as President, jointed and attested by its Secretary, D. M. Sokolosky, as the sole and only owner, petitioning and requesting that the following described real property, to wit: The East one-half (E1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section nineteen (19), Township Twenty-One (21) North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, According to the U. S. Survey thereof, EXCEPT the East 330 ffet of the South 330 feet and EXCEPT all that part deeded to the State of Oklahoma in Dedication Deed recorded in Book 2966, page 510 (Mingo Valley Expressway) and EXCEPT 50 food roadway deeded to County of Tulsa in Dedication Deed recorded in Book 3798, as page 307, in the Office of the County Clerk for Tulsa County, Oklahoma, be accepted, added and annexed to The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma; and, notice of presentation of said petition having been duly and regulary given and published once in each week for two successive weeks in the Owasso Reporter, a newspaper fully qualified under the laws of the State of Oklahoma for such publication, published within the Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and proof of publication having been duly filed as provided by law, AND, WHEREAS said described property is adjacent to the present boundary line of the corporate limits of the said Town of Owasso, and the said W S and W Development Company, Incorporated, the sole and only owner thereof, that said property to be annexed and that said petition be allowed and the request thereof granted, AND, WHEREAS there appears no opposition to the granting of the request of said petition; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the request and petition of the W S and W Development Company, Incorporated, herein referred to, be and the same is hereby granted and allowed. Section 2. That the following tract and parcel of land, to-wit: The East one-half (E1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section nineteen (19), Township Twenty-One (21) North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, According to the U. S. Survey thereof, EXCEPT the East 330 ffet of the South 330 feet and EXCEPT all that part deeded to the State of Oklahoma in Dedication Deed recorded in Book 2966, page 510 (Mingo Valley Expressway) and EXCEPT 50 food roadway deeded to County of Tulsa in Dedication Deed recorded in Book 3798, as page 307, in the Office of the County Clerk for Tulsa County, Oklahoma, be and the same is hereby admitted, added to and annexed to, and taken into the corporate limits of The Town of Owasso, State of Oklahoma. Section 3. That this ordinance shall become affective on the 17th day of November, 1969, and from and after said affective date all of said real estate described herein shall be a part of The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, and all persons residing therein and all property situated thereon shall be subject to the jurisdiction, control and ordinances of The Town of Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and par- ticulars.
