ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY
OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA TO RELEASE A UTILITY EASEMENT GIVEN THE
CITY OF OWASSO BY THE OWASSO MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, OWASSO,
OKLAHOMA, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
Section 1m That the Mayor of the City of Owasso, Okla-
Noma, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to release
that certain utility easement granted the lst day of February,
1960 by the Owasso Missionary Baptist Church, Owasso, Oklahoma,
to the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, insofar as the same covers
the following described property, to-wit:
The West Five feet of the South Ninety feet of
the East 200 feet of the North Half of the NW/4
of the SW/4 of the NE/4 of Section 30, Township
21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, Oklahoma,
which easement is recorded in Book 3046 at Page 571 of the
records of the County Clerk of Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Provided,
however, that such release shall cover only that property con-
twined in the foregoing description and that all other portions
of said Easement shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 2® That an emergency exists for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety, this Ordinance shall
become effective immediately upon its passage, approval and
publication.
Emergency clause voted upon separately and passed by
unanimous vote of the Council of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma,
this day of 1973.

We are pleased to submit for consideration by the mayor and city council an
agreement for the codification of the ordinances of the City of Owasso,
Oklahoma.
SCOPE OF SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
BY THE OFFICE OF URBAN AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOYL
lm Secure from the city clerk a copy of the last codification of your
ordinances and all permanent and general ordinances that have been
passed by the Board since the last codification,
2® Assemble the material referred to in (1) above, classify and edit the
same, eliminating duplications and items out of date or no longer needed,
in cooperation with city officials.
3® Provide codes and other regulations applicable to the City of Owasso
that are not presently a part of the code or ordinances since passed,
in cooperation with city officials,
4® Organize all ordinances of the city as revised and extant as of the
date of the signing of the agreement into a preliminary draft for
examination by the Board, City Manager, City Clerk, City Attorney, and
other interested officials.
5® After examination by the Board and other appropriate officials, make
the necessary corrections, deletions, additions, and assemble the
same into a code form with a standard form index. Place in an appendix
the city charter, a copy of any franchises voted by the people to
public service corporations, and a copy of any trust agreements approved
by the City of Owasso.
6® Print a minimum of seventy-five (75) copies of the final code with
fifteen (15) of said copies in a spring back binder with gold lettering
and sixty (60) copies with a flexible cover. Additional copies will
be furnished with flexible covers at five dollars ($5,00) per copy if
requested.

7® Complete the code in not more than six (6) months after notification
from the city to proceed, unless delayed by the city,
3® Perform the services listed herein for the total sum of $ One Thousand
Six Hundred Dollars ($1,600.00)
9® The University further agrees to organize and codify any additional
ordinances and pertinent material approved by the city council sub-
sequent to the signing of this agreement at a cost to the city of five
dollars ($5®00) per page.
THE CITE' OF OWASSO AGREES AS FOLLOWS
l® Cooperate with the University of Oklahoma by making the necessary
codes, ordinances, and other pertinent material needed for codifica-
tion, available when requested,
2® To complete the review required by the Board within a reasonable
length of time in order for the University to meet its commitment of
delivery within six (6) months.
3® Pay the sum of $_One Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($1,600.00)
when the codification is completed and delivered, If they choose to
do so, the city may make partial or progress payments.
