ORDINANCE NO. 169
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-1 OF THE OWASSO CITY CODE,
1973; REPEALING ALL PORTIONS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
Section 1. "Section 6-1. Prices of burial lots in Fairview Cemetery.
Burial Lots, consisting of four (4) grave spaces, shall be sold to the public
at a price of $200.00 per lot, unless said lot is purchased on the time payment
plan hereafter described and authorized in Section 6-3 of this article. Burial
lots, consisting of six (6) grave spaces shal be sold for $300.00" is amended
to read as follows:
Burial lots, consisting of four (4) grave spaces, shall be sold
to the public at a price of $360.00 per lot, unless said lot is
purchased on the time payment plan hereafter described and
authorized in Section 6-3 of this article. Burial lots, consisting
of six (6) grave spaces shall be sold for $475.00.
Section 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. That an emergency exists for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety, this Ordinance shall become effective immediatly uon
its passage, approval and publication.
Emergency clause voted upon separately and passed by unanimous vote of
the Council of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, this 5th day of February, 1974.
