AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING, ADDING AND ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF
OWASSO, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, ALL OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED
REAL PROPERTY, TO-WIT:
ALL THAT PART OF THE E1/2, SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP
21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND
MERIDIAN IN TULSA OUNTY, OKLAHOMA, PARTICULARY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID
E1/2, THENCE NORTH 89 58" 01" WEST ALONG THE NORTH
BOUNDARY OF SAID E1/2 A DISTANCE OF 2651.25 FEET TO
THE NORTHWEST CORNER THEREOF; THENCE SOUTH 0 02'
39" WEST ALONG THE WEST BOUNDARY OF SAID E1/2 A
DISTANCE OF 5271.11 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
THEREOF; THENCE NORTH 89 54' 11" EAST ALONG THE

WHEREAS, it appears that consent in writing of the
owners of a majority of the whole number of acres owned by
the residents of the real estate hereinabove described has been
obtained, and
WHEREAS, the annexation of the above described territory
will promote the orderly growth and development of the City of
Owasso, and
WHEREAS, the adding and annexing of said tract of land
will be for the benefit of the residents and owners of land
within the tract to be annexed and is necessary for the health
and welfare of the citizens of the City of Owasso.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OWASSO:
Section 1® That the land lying in Tulsa County, Oklahoma,
which is adjacent to and abutting on the present corporate limits
of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and -more particularly described
as follows, to-wit:
All that part of the EG, Section 20, Township
21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and
Meridian, in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, particularly
described as follows, to-wit®

Beginning at the Northeast corner of said
E2; thence North 891 58' 01" West along the North
boundary of said E1-2 a distance of 2651.25 feet to
the Northwest corner thereof; thence South 00 02'
39" West along the West boundary of said E2 a
distance of 5271.11 feet to the Southwest corner
thereof; thence North 890 541 11" East along the
South boundary of said E2 a distance of 2654.06
feet to the Southeast corner thereof; thence North

of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the corporate limits of said City be,
and are hereby, extended to include the above described territory.
Section 2® That from and after publication of this
Ordinance, as provided by law, the real estate described in
Section 1 hereof shall be a part of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma,
and all persons residing therein, and all property situated
thereon, shall be and are hereby declared to be subject to
the jurisdiction, control, laws and ordinances of the City of
Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars.
Section 3® That an emergency exists for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety, by reason whereof, this
Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication®
