HomeMy WebLinkAbout186_Billiards_Operator Hours Changedchanging billiard rooms, pool halls operating hours ORDINANCE NO. 186 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-23 OF THE OWASSO CITY CODE 1973 PROVIDING DIFFERENT HOURS OF OPERATION FOR BILLIARD ROOMS POOL HALLS AND LIKE ESTABLISHMENTS AND DECLARING AN NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA: Section 1* That Section 5-23 of the Owasso C Code 1973; which reads as follows: "No billiard room or pool hall shall rema open later than 10:30 o'clock p$m. any weekday or 11:30 pem. Saturdays, or longer than from 1:00 o'clock p@m. to 5:00 o'clock p.m. on n . beg and the same is hereby amended the following manner No billiard room or pool hall shall rema open later than 10:30 o'clock p.m. any weekday or 11:30 p.m. Saturdays, or longer than from 1:00 o'clock p.m. to 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Sundays PROVIDED HOWEVER, that during the months of June July and August, when the public schools are closed, no billiard room or pool hall shall remain open later than 11:30 p.me Monday Thursday; 12:00 p.m. Friday or Saturday; or longer than from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.me on Sunday. Section 2. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. an emergency exists for the preservation of the public peace, health and safet reason whereof, this ordinance shall take effect from and its passage. approval and publication.
