ORDINANCE NO. 188
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20, SECTION 20-159 d) OF THE
OWASSO CITY CODE 1973) . PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS
OF SAID CHAPTER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO OKLAHOI'JI.A
SECTION 1. That Chapter 20, Section 20-159 of the
Owasso City Code (1973 which presently provides:
"Sec. 20-159. Penalty. Any person, f or
corporation who violates any provision of this ,
or performs any unlawful act as defined this r,
or fails to perform any act required in this Chapterg is
quilty of an offense against the City, and upon convict
thereof, shall be fined in a sum not to exceed th five
dollars ($35.00 , including costs."
be repealed and the following revision of said Section shall be
enacted in lieu thereof
"Sec. 20-159. Penalty. (d Any person, f or
corporation who violates any provision of this Chapter,
or performs any unlawful act as defined in this Chapter
or fails to perform any act required this Chapter, is
guilty of an offense against the City, and conv
thereofu shall be fined an amount not to exceed thirty-five
dollars ($35.00) . including costs, except violations of
Sections 20 -4 6 . Sub-paragraphs (a) , , and (c 20-47,
and 20-48 of this Chapteru which instance the fine
shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00
costs. "
SECTION 2. It being immediate necessary for the preser-
vation of ,the public peace hea and safety an emergency lS
hereby declared to exist by reason whereof, this Ordinance shall
take effect and be in full force from and after its passage
and approvaL
