HomeMy WebLinkAbout218_Providing for Prices of Burial Lots in Fairview CemeteryORDINANCE NO. 218 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6, SECTION 6-1, OF THE OWASSO CITY CODE, PROVIDING FOR PRICES OF BURIAL LOTS IN FAIRVIEW CEMETERY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA: Section 1. That Chapter 6, Section 6-1, of the Owasso City Code, which presently provides: "Sec. 6-1. Prices of burial lots in Fairview Cemetery. Burial lots, consisting of four (4) grave spaces, shall be sold to the public at a parice of three hundred sixty dollars ($360.00) per lot, unless said lot is purchased on the time payment plan hereafter described and authorized in section 6-3 of this article. burial lots, consisting of six (6) grace spaces shall be sold for four hundred seventy-five dollars ($475.00) be repealed and the following revision of said section shall be enacted in lieu thereof: "Sec. 6-1 Prices of burial lots in Fairview Cemetery. Burial lots, consisting of four (4) grave spaces, shall be sold to the public at a price of six hundred and 00 dollars ($600.00) per lot. Burial lots consisting of six (6) grave spaces shall be sold for eight hundred and 00 dollars ($800.00). Section 2. Emergency. That for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is found and declared to exist by reason whereof this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
