AN ORDINANCE REAFFRIMING THE ACCEPTANCE, ADDITION AND
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, ADDITIONAL
LANDS AND TERRITORY IN SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH,
RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, PROVIDING THAT
FROM AND AFTER THE PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION OF THIS
ORDINANCE THAT ALL OF THE REAL PROPERTY WITHIN SAID
TERRITORY HEREIN DESCRIBED SHALL BE A PART OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AND FURTHER DECLARING THAT ALL
PERSONS, RESIDING THEREIN SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE
JURISIDICTION, CONTROL, LAWS, AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, ESTABLISHING THE SAME AS PART OF WARD
FOURT OF SAID CITY, DIRECTING THE FILING OF THE THIS ORDINANCE,
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on the 41h day of April, 1978 the City Council approved Ordinance No. 229,
accepting, adding and annexing to the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, additional lands and territory
described as:
All that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE/4) lying west of the U.S. Highway 169 right-of-way in Section
30, Township 21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa
County, State of Oklahoma, according to the United States Government Survey
thereof-, and
WHEREAS, same has been discovered lost and unrecorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED ''° THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT, TO-WIT:
Section 1. The following described territory lying in Tulsa County, Oklahoma which is
contiguous to the present corporate limits of the City of Owasso and described in the petition for
annexation presented to the City Council in accordance with the provisions of Title 11, Section
21-103, et seq., of the Oklahoma Statutes, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
be, and the same is hereby annexed to, made a part of, and added to the City of Owasso,
Oklahoma, and corporate limits thereof be and are hereby extended to include the above
described territory and real estate.
Section 2. That from and after the effective date of this Ordinance, the real estate and
territory described in Section I hereof shall be a part of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and in
Ward Four thereof, and all persons residing therein, and all property situated thereon, shall be
and are hereby declared to be subject to the jurisdiction, control, laws, and ordinances of the City
of Owasso, Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars.
Section 3. That there be filed in the office of the County Clerk of Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, a true and correct copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the
territory hereby annexed.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days from the date of first
publication as provided by state law.

Dear Mr. Baines:
I discovered an error on the plat map filed with my applica-
tion for rezoning of my property south of Rayola Park.
The engineer put the property in Section 20 rather than Sec-
tion 30 where it belongs. I checked with the Tulsa County
Court Clerk and was told to file the affidavit attached. The
Clerk assures me that this will correct the matter.
Please attach the affidavit to my application for rezoning.

that as a part of his appication for the annexation
of and rezoning of certain properties owneed by myslef, R. D.
Bailey, and my wife, Bernadean Bailey, I acquired a plat draw
by the firm of Shibley-Lane Engineering Company.
Affiant further states that after review of his application
and plat, the Planning commission of the City of
Owasso directed me to purchase a publilc notice of the
impending rezoning, After publication of the notice I discovered
that an error was made in the legal description provided by my
Shibley=Lane Engineering Company, to with; in the part of the
description reading "Section 20, Township 21 North, Range 14
East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa county, Oklahoma,"
the poper woring is Section 30, all else being the same.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned, constituting not less than three - fourths of the voters
and being the owners of not less than three - fourths (in value) of the hereinafter
described real estate situated in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, to -wit:
All that part of the Northeast 1/4, Southeast 1/4, Southeast 1/4
Lying West of Highway 169 Right of Way in Section 20, Township
21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, in
