HomeMy WebLinkAbout248_OZ 41_ Rezoning T L David PropertyORDINANCE NO 248 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDIANCE NO 175, APPROVING REZONING APPLICATIO NO OZ-41, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the requested rezoning for the property herein described, and WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested rezoning of OZ-41 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the following described property, to-wit: Commencing at the SW corner of Lot 26, Block 5, of Three Lakes, an addition to the City of Owasso, of Section 29, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, the said point being also the point of beginning; thence due East a distance of 393.44' to a point, said point being the point of beginning of Tract I; thence due East a distance of 442.64' to a point; thence S 5 degree 54'32" E a distance of 137.73'; thence S 70 degree 45'57"W a distance of 43.66'; thence S 46 decgree 16'55" W a distance of 609.41'; thence N 0 degree 51'29" E a distance of 515.57'; thence N 23 58'14" E a distance of 97.54' to a point; said point being the closing of Tract I and Tract I containing 4.1 acres, more or less, City of Owasso, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, be and the same is hereby rezoned from an IL light Industrial District to a RM-1 Residential Multi-Family District classification. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby expressly repealed. EMERGENCY. An emergency is hereby declared to exist for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, by reason whereof this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, approval and publication. PASSED and APPROVED and the emergenct clause ruled upon separately this 20th day of February, 1979.
