AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING NUMERICAL DESIGNATION
OF THAT PORTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 250 SET OUT
AS CHAPTER9, ARTICLE1, SECTION 9-14 OF THE
OWASSO CITY CODE TO A CORRECTED DESIGNATION
TO READ AS CHAPTER 9, ARTICLE 2, SECTION 9-15 (a),
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
That Ordinance No. 250 be amended and corrected by
removing therefrom that portion designated as Section 3,
Chapter 9, Article 1, Section 9-14 of the Owasso City Code
and placing said section in Chapter 9, Article 2, and
designating same as 9415(a), Said Ordinance is in all
respects rat-2 - fied and affirmed as heretofore published under
the heading of Section 9-14, and shall be designated as
and read as follows:
.Section 9.15(a) Allowing additional rules and
regulations to be imposed by Owasso Public Works
Authority so long as refuse collection and disposal
is -leased to Owasso Public Works Authority; pro-
.viding for the- enforcement thereof, So long as
retuse collection --`an--cT-Fisposa-1 -is leased to and
operated by or under the authority of the Owasso
Public Works Authority, the Owasso Public Works
Authority shall have the authority to establish
or change rules or regulations, other than rates
now in effect that it deems necessary to the proper
operation of refuse collection and disposal, Such
rules and regulations shall be enforced by the City
as same are now enforced.
Emergency Clause: By reason of the need for the
imiediate preservation of the peace, health and safety, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance
shall be effective immediately upon its adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED and the emergency clause ruled
upon separately this day of 'M: 1979.
