ORDINANCE NO. 278
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 175, APPROVING
ZONING APPLICATION NO. OZ-50 CHANGING THE ZONING OF
A PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 30,
TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE
AND MERIDIAN IN TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM AG
AGRICULTURE TO IL INDUSTRIAL LIGHT, AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the
requested rezoning for the property herein described, and
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation
of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements
for and against the requested rezoning of OZ-51,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the following
described proerty, to-wit:
A tract of land, containing 5.000 acres, in the Southeast
quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 30,
township 21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, Oklahoma,
said tract lying entirely South of the curved
Southwest right-of-way line of the A. T. & S. F Railway,
said right-of-way line being 150' southwest of, as
measured radially to, the center line of said railway,
and said tract being a part of the vacated part of
Greenlee's addition to the town of Owasso, and said
tract being particularly described as beginning at a
point on the South line of said Section 30, said point
also being on said railway right-of-way line; thence
West along the South line of said Section 30 for
424.19'; thence North at a right angle for 906.32' to
a point on said railway right-of-way line; thence
Southeast along a curve to the right with a radius of
3287.75' and along said railway right-of-way line
for 1004.58' to the point of beginning of said 5.000
acre tract of land,
be and the same is hereby rezoned from AG agriculture District
classification to an IL industrial Light District Classification.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby expressly repealed.
