ORDINANCE NO. 286
AN ORDINANCE. VACATING UTILITY EASEMENT PURSUANT
TO TITLE 11, OKLAHOMA STATUTES, SECTION 42-110,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
WHEREAS, the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, has deemed it
necessary and expedient to close to public use a certain
utility easement, and that it is necessary and expedient to
vacate same, and
WHEREAS, said utility easement is described as
follows:
A 15 foot utility easement lying in the
Northwest Quarter (NW/14) of Section 299
Township-21-North, Range-14-East, Tulsa
County, Oklahoma, 7.5 feet either side
of a centerline described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is 319.60 feet
West of the Northeast Corner of Lot 15,
Block 3, THREE LAKES: thence S. 704506" W
43.44 feet; thence S. 50025'06" W. 280.86
feet, to a point, all lying within Lot
15, Block 3, THREE LAKES, Tulsa County,
Oklahom am
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 11, Okl® St., Section 42-
110, that the only
holders of a franc
right or privilege
Service Company of
Company, and
holders of a franchise or purported
hise that may purport to have a special
to use said utility easement are Public
Oklahoma and/or Oklahoma Natural Gas
WHEREAS, Public Service Company of Oklahoma and
Oklahoma Natural Gas Company were given notice on the 29th
day of May, to appear on this regular meeting date,
July 1, 1989 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., at the Owasso City
Hall and make their objections to the vacation of said ease-
men t, if any, and

WHEREAS, no person has appeared to object to the
vacation of said utility easement over the above described
property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY COUNCIL OF THE
q^1TV OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA:
Section 1. That the following described utility
easement -, be, and the same i s hereby, vacated, to-wit:
A 15 foot utility easement lying in the
Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section 29,
Township-21-No rt1h, Range-14-East, Tulsa
County, Oklahorna, 705 feet either side
of a centerline described as folloit-is:
Beginning at a point which is 319.60 feet
West of the Northeast- Corner of Lot 15,
Block 3, THREE LAKES. thence S. 7045'06" W
43.44 feet; thence S. 50025'06" W. 280.86
feet, to a point, all lying within Lot

Oklahoma.
Section 20 That for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safetly, an emergency is found and declared
to exist by reason whereof this Ordinance shall take effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, and the emergency
