HomeMy WebLinkAbout296_OZ 55_Rezoning RS to CG_Sokolosky_86thSokolosky rezoning (86th) 936036 STATE OF OKLAHOMA TULSA COUNTY FILED OR 81 JAN 27 AM 10:47 ANITA NESBITT COUNTY CLERK CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA ORDINANCE NO. 296 BOOK 4523 PAGE 606 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 175, APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NO OZ-55 CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN IN TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM RS RESIDENTIAL TO CG COMMERCIAL GENERAL, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFILCT THERE WITH WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request rezoning for the property herein described, and WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the reqeust rezoning of OZ-55, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. That the zoning classification fo the following described proerty, to -wit: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 29, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, thence S 89°56'16" West a distance of 1,311.82 feet; thence south 0°06'58" East a distance of 50.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, thence continuing South 0°06'58" East a distance of 295.00 feet; thence South 89°56'16" West and parallel with the North line of Section 29 a distance of 808.64 feet; thence North 20°00'00" East a distance of 314.06 feet to a point 50 feet perpendicularly distant from the north line of Section 29; thence North 89°56'16" East and parallel to said North Section Line a distance of 700.63 feet to the Point of Beginning, and containing 222,816 square feet, or 5.11 acres, more or less, be and the same is hereby rezoninged form an RS Residential District classification to a CG Commercial General District classification. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby, expressly repealed. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 20th day of January, 1981. Boyd M.
