AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE PROCEDURE FOR COUNTY CLERK
SELECTION OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY OF (I//
OWASSO TO SERVE ON ALL INTER - GOVERNMENTAL
AGENCIES, BOARDS AND ASSOCIATIONS OF WHICH
THE CITY OF OWASSO PARTICIPATES IN OR 14AINTAINS
A MEMBERSHIP WITH, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
OF PROVISIONS HEREOF, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings, after proper notice thereof,
have been held regarding the procedure to be followed for the
selection of a representative of the City of Owasso, State of
Oklahoma, to serve on all inter - governmental agencies, boards
and /or associations of which the City of Owasso participates in
and /or maintains membership with, and
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the
recommendations made during such hearing above referred to,
and further, has duly deliberated during same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA.
That the individual selected to represent and serve
the City of Owasso on all inter - governmental agencies, boards,
and /or associations of which the City of Owasso participates
in and /or maintains a membership with shall, in all cases, be
the Mayor of the City of Owasso, to represent and serve ex officio,
or a designee of the Mayor if and in the event said Mayor declines
or is otherwise unable to participate or represent the City of
Owasso, Oklahoma, therein; provided, however, that such
designation, if any, shall at all times be in conformity with
the provisions of Section 8 -6 of the Charter of the City of
Owasso, Oklahoma.

That if and in the event any inter - governmental
agency, board, and or association of which the City of Owasso,
Oklahoma, participates in and /or maintains a membership which
provides for or requires more than one (1) representative from
respective municipalities, members or participants, then and
in such event the remaining individual(s) selected to represent
and serve the City of Owasso therein shall be the Vice -Mayor of
the City of Owasso, Oklahoma to represent and serve ex officio
or designee thereof under the condition outlined above and,
if thereafter necessary, any other person selected by the City
Council of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma.
III.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby expressly repealed.
