HomeMy WebLinkAbout319_Corrected_OZ 65_N of E 106 St N & E of Garnett Rd_Amend Ord 175_Ag to CS44537 Book 4607 Page 2112 CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA ORDINANCE NO. 319 (CORRECTED) STATE Oklahoma AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 175, APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER OZ -65 CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF A TRACT OF LAND IN THE NORTH HALF (N /2) OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW /4) OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW /4) OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE MERIDIAN, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM AG AGRICULTURE AND CS COMMERCIAL SHOPPING TO RMH RESIDENTIAL MOBILE HOME PARK DISTRICT, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN C014FLICT THEREWITH. WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning the property herein described, and WHEREAS, the City Council of Owasso, Oklahoma has considered the recommendation of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested rezoning of OZ -65; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT SECTION ONE (1): That the zoning classification of the following described property, to -wit: be and the same is hereby rezoned from AG Agriculture District classification and CS Commercial Shopping District classification A portion of the North Half (N /2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW /4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW /4) of Section 8, Township 21 North, Range 14 East more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said section, thence southerly a distance of approximately 1,320 feet along the West Section Line of said section to the Northwest Corner of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of said section, thence easterly a distance of 388 feet along the north line of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4), Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of said section to the point of beginning; thence, easterly a distance of 932 feet along the north line of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4), Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of said section to the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of said section, thence southerly a distance approximately 660 feet to the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE/4), Southwest Quarter (SW/4), Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of said section; thence, westerly a distance of 1,020 feet to a point lying 300 feet East of the West Section Line of said section, thence northerly a distance of 420 feet parallel to the West Section Line of said section, thence North northeasterly a distance of 255 feet to the point of beginning, an area of 15.7 acres more or less. be and the same is hereby rezoned from AG Agriculture District classification and CS Commercial Shopping District classification Book 4607 Page 2113 to RMH Residential Mobile Home Park District classification, SECTION TWO (2): That there be filed in the office of the County Clerk of Tulsa County, Oklahoma, a true and correct copy of this Ordinance. That for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is found and declared to exist by reason whereof this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
