WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 11, Section 21 -101, et. seq., of the Oklahoma Municipal Code, the City of Owasso is permitted to annex additional territory with the written consent of the owners of at least a majority of the acres to be annexed; and, WHEREAS, the City of Owasso and the Owasso Public Works Authority consent to the annexation of; and are the majority owners of the following described property, to -wit: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the NW /4, SE /4, Section 31, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, Thence North 2970 feet to a point, Thence East 660 feet to a point, Thence South 330 feet to a point, Thence East 330 feet to a point, Thence South 100 feet to a point, Thence West 100 feet to a point, Thence South 600 feet to a point, Thence East 425 feet to a point, Thence North 500 feet to a point, Thence East 575 feet to a point, Thence South 00° 50' 00" East 1121.5 feet to a point, Thence West 57 feet to a point, Thence South 711 feet to a point, Thence West 531 feet to a point, Thence South 19 feet to a point, Thence West 660 feet to a point, Thence South 590 feet to a point, Thence West 660 feet to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of the following described property adjacent to, or abutting on, property already within the Corporate Limits of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, to -wit: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the NW /4, SE /4, Section 31, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, Thence North 2970 feet to a point, Thence East 660 feet to a point, Thence South 330 feet to a point, Thence East 330 feet to a point, Thence South 100 feet to a point, Thence West 100 feet to a point, Thence South 600 feet to a point, Thence East 425 feet to a point, Thence North 500 feet to a point, Thence East 575 feet to a point, Thence South 00° 50' 00" East 1121.5 feet to a point, Thence West 57 feet to a point, Thence South 711 feet to a point, Thence West 531 feet to a point, Thence South 19 feet to a point, Thence West 660 feet to a point, Thence South 590 feet to a point, Thence West 660 feet to the point of beginning. having consented to annex said property to the City of Owasso; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Owasso has determined that the annexation of the property hereinabove described is necessary, reaso- nable and desirable in the public interest of the residents and citizens of the City of Owasso; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO: SECTION 1. SECTION 2. That from and after the passage and publication of this Ordinance, the real estate and territory described in Section 1 hereof shall be a part of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and in Ward Four thereof, and all persons residing therein, and all property situated thereon, shall be and are hereby declared to be subject to the jurisdiction control laws and ordinances of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma in all respect and par- ticulars.
